In fact, there was a common thread running through all the speeches and presentations that day and it was becoming women of substance and being a light to others. It was to me, an impressive display of a whole community that truly lived by their motto. This cohesiveness shone through even through the speeches written by the High School students, as well as in the slide shows and videos that were shown during the event.
It is no wonder then, that many prominent women have their roots in STCQC.
